About Jaipur

About Hawal Mahal

It was built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh for the court harem so that they could witness the royal processions and the street life. The exquisite pink and red sandstone 'mahal' stands out for its striking architecture, and the beautiful 'jhaali' works on its 953 windows.

About  Jantar Mantar 

Jantar mantar Built in 1724 by Maharaja Jai Singh II of Jaipur, Jantar Mantar is one of the five astronomical observatories built by the king in Northern India. Its striking combinations of geometric forms have caught the attention of architects, artists and art historians from around the world.

About City palace

Located deep within the walled city, the City Palace Complex was conceived and built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the founder of Jaipur. A beautiful fusion of Mughal and Rajput architecture, the palace is still home to the last ruling royal family which lives in a private section of the palace.

About Amber fort

The Amber Fort was originally built by Raja Man Singh. Jai Singh I expanded it in the early 1600's. Improvements and additions were made by successive rulers over the next 150 years, until the Kachwahas shifted their capital to Jaipur during the time of Sawai Jai Singh II, in 1727.

By 11 A.M you will be able to reach the massive Amber Fort which is based on a hill top. Besides witnessing the Royal palaces of the Maharaja's you also have a chance to view the old city located at the foothills.

1:00 P.M ) SAVOURING JAIPUR

Now after the long day and sightseeing you can relax for a while during your lunch at some local restaurant in Jaipur..

2:00 P.M) VISITING CITY PALACE JAIPUR

City palace houses the galleries of artifacts depicting the royal life style of maharajas, this is still the abode of the maharaja family. This gives you a glimpse of the medieval life style.

3:30 P.M) SIGHTSEEING OF JANTAR MANTAR

Jantar mantar (stone observatory) is a sheer example of keen and vivid knowledge of Raja Jaisingh in astronomy.

4:30 P.M) SHOPPING SPREE

After the visit of stone observatory is over you can also browse around the local bazaars or do shopping at leisure.

5:30 P.M) DEPART TO DELHI

At the end of your Delhi Jaipur one day trip we will transfer you back to your hotel in Delhi. It would take nearly 4 hours (depend on traffic) when you reach Delhi.
