About Kodaikanal

Kodaikanal is a hill town in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It’s set in an area of granite cliffs, forested valleys, lakes, waterfalls and grassy hills. At 2,000 meters above sea level, the town centers around man-made, star-shaped Kodaikanal Lake, bordered by evergreen forest. Rowing boats can be hired, and hikers and cyclists follow the 5k Lake Road path around the shore.

Madurai is an energetic, ancient city on the Vaigai River in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Its skyline is dominated by the 14 colorful gopurams (gateway towers) of Meenakshi Amman Temple. Covered in bright carvings of Hindu gods, the Dravidian-style temple is a major pilgrimage site. About Rameswaram

Rameswaram is a town on Pamban Island, in the southeast Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It’s known for Ramanathaswamy Temple, a Hindu pilgrimage site with ornate corridors, huge sculpted pillars and sacred water tanks. Devotees bathe in the waters of Agni Theertham, off the beach east of the temple. Gandamadana Parvatham is a hill with island views. A chakra (wheel) here is said to bear an imprint of Lord Rama’s feet.

About Kanyakumari

Kanyakumari is a coastal town in the state of Tamil Nadu on India's southern tip. Jutting into the Laccadive Sea, the town was known as Cape Comorin during British rule and is popular for watching sunrise and sunset over the ocean. It's also a noted pilgrimage site thanks to its Bagavathi Amman Temple, dedicated to a consort of Shiva, and its Our Lady of Ransom Church, a center of Indian Catholicism.

About Kovalam

Kovalam is a small coastal town in the southern Indian state of Kerala, south of Thiruvananthapuram. At the southern end of Lighthouse Beach is a striped lighthouse with a viewing platform. Palm-backed beaches also include Hawa Beach and Samudra Beach. Heading south, Vizhinjam Juma Masjid mosque overlooks the busy fishing harbor. Inland, Sagarika Marine Research Aquarium displays technology used in pearl production.

Day 1 - Madurai To Kodaikanal (146 kms approx)

On arrival at Madurai airport OR railway station, proceed to Kodaikanal. Upon arrival at Kodaikanal, transfer to the hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure. Have a comfortable overnight stay. Kodaikanal, the Princess of Hill Stations, is a must visit for a scenic and peaceful holiday in the spectacularly beautiful Western Ghats. Located on the southern ridge of Palani hills in Tamil Nadu this genteel hill station was established by missionaries as a retreat from the oppressive heat of the plains. Day 3 - Kodaikanal To Madurai | 120 kms (4 hours approx)

After breakfast, check-out of the hotel and depart for Madurai. On arrival, check-in and relax. Later in the day, embark on a local sightseeing tour of Madurai covering places such as Sri Meenakshi Sundareshwara Temple, art museum, Puthu Mandapam, and Raya Gopuram etc. Return to the hotel after the tour and have a comfortable stay. Day 4 - Rameshwaram

After breakfast, drive off to Rameshwaram. Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel and proceed for a local tour of the town. one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India. Legend says that Ramanatha Swamy Temple stands where Lord Rama performed worship of a Sand Lingam made by Sita. Other places of interest in Rameshwaram are Ramanathaswamy Temple, Dhanushkodi, Agnitheertham Gandamadana Parvatham etc. Overnight stay at Hotel

Day 5 - Rameshwaram To Kanyakumari

After breakfast, proceed to Kanyakumari. The Arabian Sea, the Indian Ocean and the Bay of Bengal merge at Kanyakumari. It is an important pilgrimage center for Hindus.
